Return Policy:
In the event you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return your item within 30 days of the purchase date by mail or in person at our Indianapolis store. Returned items must be in original box with attached tags, and they must be in resalable condition. Pending inspection, a full refund or a store credit will be issued for the item value. Shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable.
In the event you have received an item as a gift and would like to return it, a store credit will be issued for your next purchase through our website or Indianapolis store. Return shipping and handling charges are your responsibility. Returned items must be in original box with attached tags, and they must be in resalable condition. We will issue a credit immediately once the item is received and inspected. Shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable.

Once upon a time a young couple named Dick and Jane Bridgins worked in the display department at a local department store.  Frustrated by the lack of modern design, they ventured away from the department store to bring a more contemporary style store to Indianapolis.  They started The Accent Shop Inc. in 1958. They sold furniture, lamps, tabletop and much more.
Today our store focuses more on bridal and gift registry items.  We carry a wide range of dinnerware, flatware, glassware and serving pieces as well as cards, collectibles, jewelry, etc.  Over the years we have grown in square footage as well as in staff.  Some of our best customers have enjoyed working for us over the years and we like to think of them all as part of our family.  We have also built close relationships with many of our long time vendors.  Some of our reps have even been known to work for too in the past.
