Description
The DOORS / ALLMEN JOYS / GINGERBREAD BLU – This is the handbill / postcard from the Denver FAMILY DOG (designed by RICK GRIFFIN / FDD-18). These shows were December 29-31st 1967 and the last shows CHET HELMS promoted at the Family Dog in Denver. This is the first pressing (Type A) version with “place stamp here” on the back. These cards (there are multiples available) measure 5.5 x 7 inches. The postcards from are from the collection of HARRY TUFT, musician and founder of Denver Folklore Center. They were on the counter at the DFC back in 1967 and he saved the extras left after the shows were over. They have been stored in a flat file for decades. They are graded M- and I think you would have a hard time finding a cleaner example. If you purchase multiples there is no additional shipping charge after the first postcard.
