From a local estate I am pleased to offer a rare  vintage dog figurine made by Beswick, England
WHIPPET - "WINGED FOOT MARKSMAN"
Model #1786B designed by Arthur Gredington
Second version where the tail is attached to the leg
Discontinued by 1989
Tan gloss colorway
Wonderful handpainting - so lifelike and very typical of the vintage Beswick pieces
Mint condition, with no chips, cracks, hairlines, other damage or restoration
I have checked over everything with a jeweller's loupe as well as a black light and even the vulnerable ear tips and legs have survived completely intact over the years
Measures 4 1/2" tall from tabletop to tip of ears and 5 1/2" across from tip of nose to edge of tail
Marked with oval Beswick black mark
