    (Orf/Apple, 1969) Vintage original 17 x 23 in. fold-out poster for John Lennon and Yoko Ono's groundbreaking, underground film, "Rape". The poster depicts the title and a very graphic and stark black and white portrait of Lennon and Ono by Piller-Druck. The verso of the poster features an introduction to the movie in English, German, and French. Also, stapled to the outer corner of the poster is a small printed flyer with, "Sixth Hollywood Festival of World Television, Screening Session, November 25, 1969, Century Plaza, Los Angeles Room, Exchangeable, .50". Handwritten on the flyer is, "Rape 9:30 tonight". The early found footage-style film was an indictment on the intrusiveness and pervasiveness of TV. Retaining original folds and exhibiting age and wear. In vintage good condition.
