    This listing is for Icelandic kelp for hermit crabs. Our kelp is hand harvested, dried, and then milled into fines. The specific species is Ascophyllum nodosum. This is an excellent plant based source of essential amino acids, fiber, carotene, vitamin A, and vitamin E.
