Demonstrated at NAB, DataDirect Networks' S2A9500 RAID storage networking system provides optimal block level and file system performance for scalable, open system computing environments. With up to 3GB/s of sustained real-time throughput and up to 450TB of storage capacity in a two-rack system, the S2A9500 is capable of providing producers and editors independent and simultaneous access to native HD, 2K (2048x1080) and 4K (4096x2160) film resolution content, delivering six concurrent 2K streams or two 4K streams. The S2A9500 allows UNIX, Linux, Mac and Windows servers and workstations access to shared storage resources.
