    Description

    "Taraxacum"
Dandelion is used as folk remedies. Culturally, it was used to treat infections, bile and liver problems, as well as cancers, and as a diuretic. There is evidence to suggest it may have anti-inflammatory effects and assist with urinary tract infections.
Dandelion leaves contain abundant vitamins and minerals, especially vitamins A, C, and K, and are good sources of calcium, potassium, iron, and manganese. The raw flowers contain high levels of polyphenols and antioxidants and are anti-inflammatory and anti-angiogenic.
Historically, dandelion was prized for a variety of medicinal properties, and it contains a number of pharmacologically active compounds. Dandelion has been used as a medicinal plant for thousands of years to treat inflammation, swollen lymph nodes, cysts and abscesses, as well detoxifying the kidney and liver.
    Dandelion Root
    (cut and sifted)
In traditional Chinese and Native American medicine, dandelion root has long been used to treat stomach and liver conditions.
Herbalists today believe that it can aid in the treatment of many ailments, including acne,
    eczema
, high cholesterol, heartburn, gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes, and even cancer.
Please keep always in mind when you serve your pet new food:
Some animals need their time to smell and try it since a lot of them have never smelled a flower or certain herbs before.
We, however, found that most bunnies and other critters digged our flower mixes right away. :-)
Start with a 1oz bag unless you KNOW your pet loves that kind of treat since we do not offer refunds, exchange or returns on food.
Please note that depending on the time of harvest and weather conditions the color and size of the items may vary.
Item does not include wooden slider.
Please note that some of these herbs like dandelions, red clover and nettles contain a larger amount of calcium compared to other herbs or flowers. In their fresh state some of these herbs may be diuretic but if you have an animal with bladder stones or issues with bladder sludge we suggest to consult your vet before offering these as treats.
